D --> When I arrived on
Day 5, the experiment was still being headed by KERNOS, a different company by all accounts than COMPASS. We were given a message on arrival, that we were testing a new virtual reality game. Completing missions earned us tokens, and the first mission was to be that night. There was another message over our phones, asking where the monsters were coming from, as a clue to what we were meant to do.
D --> A strange, fish-like creature led us to the caves. Inside was a two-headed barkbeast (a dog, I think you call it). Myself and a strange and irritating robot by the name of Starscream managed to defeat it, though we did not find much inside the cave. I did, however, receive a token for my services.

Day 6 was an off day. Other than a few of my comrades arriving, as well as that insufferable Dave Strider, not much happened.
D -->
Day 7 was busy. Early in the morning, a storm siren went off, announcing that some of the island’s inhabitants had broken into the offices. The offices were off limits to us, and we weren’t sure what they were keeping in them. They didn’t discover anything, though. Later was the first of a few resistance meetings, led by Professor Layton. I attempted to take charge of the attack team, but was encouraged to find a different role.
D --> On that day, we also started learning about the missing people. Sometimes, others simply disappeared. It’s the same as what happens on the ship. No one has found a pattern to it yet.
I made a cool
devices guide! It went completely unappreciated, though. No one around here recognizes genius when they see it.
D -->
Day 8 started with another break-in attempt, and another siren. A thick fog rolled in and blocked out everything. Other than that, Day 8 was uninteresting.
D --> On
day 9, the bodies of those who tried to break in were found, mostly eaten. Other than that, the island seemed normal. A few new arrivals arrived on that day, as well.
D --> On
day 10, some flying dogs appeared over the island, dropping rocks on people. It was intensely irritating. There were also posters announcing the arrivals of merchants.
D --> The night of day 10, something so ridiculous, rage inducing, and preposterous happened that I hardly want to talk about it. It was utterly humiliating, to boot. Yes, we’re better off not talking about that incident.
D --> Alright, alright, here’s what happened. A group of so-called “wizards” attacked the dorm I lived in, attacking other inhabitants for their escape tokens. Mine was, disgracefully, taken from me. I never did get revenge for that. If I ever encounter those wizards again, I will make them pay for that.
D -->
Day 11 was the first day the merchants appeared, bringing useful items as well as things from our home worlds. More new people showed up that day.
D -->
Day 12 was another mission, though I did not participate as much in this one. There were tremors that shook the island. The goal was to stop them, which some others did successfully.
D -->
Day 13 was another off day. Other than new arrivals, nothing of interest happened.
